How long does an apprenticeship take in the Swiss school system?
There is no general answer as to how long a training course in the Swiss school system lasts. This is because the duration of training courses is determined autonomously by the schools.
As a rule, courses leading to a "school certificate" take a few days (approx. 2 - 15 days). For other courses with a federally recognized qualification, a longer training period must be expected.
