How long does a language course in Australia last?
A language course at a language school abroad can vary greatly in length. There are special courses, especially for students, which take place exclusively during the vacations and therefore cannot last longer than five weeks. However, it is of course also possible to attend a language school for just one or two weeks and travel during the remaining time. Some schools offer stays specially designed for families, providing all members of the family with courses appropriate to their level and a wide range of leisure activities. This makes it easy to combine a family vacation with language training and then spend some time traveling the continent.
However, language schools in Australia do not only offer interesting language courses for young people. There are also special courses for young adults, professionals or senior citizens, which specialize in the needs of individual groups. Not only short language courses are offered here, but courses of up to 48 weeks or more. How long you enrol on a language course will certainly always depend on your goals, your motivation, your budget and the type of course you choose. Cambridge preparation courses, for example, usually have a fixed duration of 10 to 12 weeks, during which you will be perfectly prepared for the upcoming exam.
