How long does a Russian language course take?
The length of a language course in Russian can vary greatly depending on the provider.
Language courses are often limited to a fixed time frame, which can range from three months to six months. However, this depends heavily on the respective schools and the frequency of the courses per week. Language courses are usually specified in the number of lessons, for example 15 lessons of 45 minutes each, which take place once a week. Once you have completed the specified number of lessons, you have usually reached the first part of level A1 and can complete the A1 course in another course of the same length and, if interested, register for an A2 course.
However, there are also a large number of private lessons for Russian, which can be very individual in their duration. You decide how long and how intensively you want to learn and what learning goals you want to achieve. The same applies to company courses, which are tailored to the needs of the company and therefore cannot have a predetermined duration.
