How long does the animal keeper training take as a career changer?
Career changers with more than five years of general professional experience and three years of specialized professional experience in animal care can register directly for the qualification procedure (QV).
However, it is recommended that those interested attend a preparatory course specially developed for lateral entry, which prepares them comprehensively for the final examination.
Depending on your previous knowledge, you can expect the training to take between one and two years.
