Basic training as a plasterer - Federal VET Diploma drywaller takes three years in the traditional way with practical training in a plastering company and school-based training at a training center. However, adults who are already working as plasterers and want to complete their apprenticeship only have to attend classes for two years, which take place in the evenings and at weekends and therefore do not mean any loss of earnings.
