How is the education at a UAS diploma school in Switzerland structured?
A continuing education, further training course at a diplomatic school or a continuing education, further training course at a University of Applied Sciences can be structured and oriented very differently. The CAS "Foreign Affairs & Applied Diplomacy", for example, consists of practical case studies, exercises, presentations, simulations and e-learning within two modules. These modules are divided into the following units: "Introduction to Foreign Affairs", "Workshop: The Diplomatic Parquet", "Cross-cultural Negotiation", "Workshop: Business & Diplomacy" and two blocks of excursions in Brussels and Geneva to EU institutions, the WTO, UNOG, EFTA and Swiss representatives in Brussels, among others.
