The Visual Design course at the University of Applied Sciences is structured as follows:
- the basic placement in the first year of study:
- Image generation techniques such as drawing, photography, animation and sampling
- Basics in typography, layout and screen design
- Presentation and technical production knowledge
- more complex graphic tasks in the main course:
- combine them in concrete products such as corporate designs, editorial designs, posters and infographics
- Testing products across different media
- carry out a self-designed final project in the diploma semester:
- the course includes subject-specific theoretical knowledge
- sensitized to questions of culture and society
