Wie entscheide ich, welchen Sprachkurs ich wählen soll?

How do I decide which language course to choose?

Language schools in Ireland generally offer various language courses from which students can choose. You must decide this at the time of booking, as this is a question of both organization and cost. Standard courses are usually offered by all language schools and comprise around 4 lessons per day. You can also usually book intensive courses on language trips to Ireland, which can have up to 30 lessons per week, i.e. 6 lessons per day. However, as each language school defines its courses independently, it is of course possible that an intensive course at one school may have 20 lessons per week of 45 minutes each, while at another Irish language school it may have 25 lessons of 60 minutes each. You should therefore always take a close look at the duration and number of lessons in order to compare the courses on offer. Diploma courses that prepare you for English language exams are also very popular and usually have the same duration as intensive courses.

Which language course you choose depends on how much time you want to spend per week and day on an English language course and what your goal is, for example a language diploma or improving your business English. Once you have decided on one of these models, you can now decide which course option you would like - group, mini-group, individual lessons or combination courses consisting of individual and group lessons. Your language level also has an influence on the choice of a suitable language course for language travel to Ireland. For example, as an English beginner, you cannot take part in business courses, as level B1 or B2 is usually required. Also, not every school offers all levels for all course models, so you should bear this in mind when searching.
