What degree do I need for CHE training in communication technology?
In order to be admitted to the College of Higher Education in Communication Technology, a Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training (Federal VET Diploma) from the telematics or electrical sector (Federal VET Diploma electronics technician, Federal VET Diploma telematics technician, Federal VET Diploma IT technician, Federal VET Diploma electrical fitter, Federal VET Diploma automation technician, Federal VET Diploma electrical planner, Federal VET Diploma multimedia electronics technician or comparable training) or at least three years of relevant industry experience with another Federal VET Diploma must be proven. Persons with a Baccalaureate can also be admitted to the CHE course, provided they have several years of professional experience in telematics or communications technology.
