What qualification do I need for the FPE continuing education, further training in energy consulting?

You will be admitted to the Federal Professional Examination "Energy Consultant for Buildings with Federal Diploma of Higher Education" with various qualifications if you have the necessary professional experience and the prescribed module qualifications. What is required:

• Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training (VET Diploma) in the construction industry and at least seven years of professional experience in building technology or building envelope after the VET Diploma, of which at least three years with management experience and/or customer advice

or

• Federal VET Diploma in another industry and at least ten years of professional experience in building technology or building envelopes after the Federal VET Diploma, including at least three years with management experience and/or customer advice

or

• Related higher vocational training qualification (Federal Diploma of Higher Education, Federal Diploma, Advanced Federal Diploma of Higher Education) or university degree in architecture, civil engineering, building services engineering or facility management with a specialization in building systems or an equivalent qualification and three years of professional experience in building services engineering or building envelopes
