Those interested in an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) have to fulfill a few different admission requirements, depending on the Universities. In most cases, however, these are as follows:

• Completed studies at a University of Applied Sciences (UAS) or a university
• Completion of higher vocational education and sufficient professional experience in a professional field relevant to continuing education, further training and appropriate scientific knowledge ("scientific work")
• At least five years of relevant professional experience
• Leadership and management experience (often at least 2 years are required)
• Good knowledge of English
• Depending on the situation, a minimum age of 30 years is also required
• As a rule: admission interview
