What continuing education, further training can I do after a banking apprenticeship?
After training in banking, you have the opportunity to qualify for a higher position and more specific tasks with a Federal Professional Examination if you wish to complete continuing education, further training in this area. Such a Federal Professional Examination (FPE) can, for example, lead to the qualification of Finance and Accounting Specialist with Federal Diploma of Higher Education, Debt Collection and Bankruptcy Specialist with Federal Diploma of Higher Education or Fiduciary with Federal Diploma of Higher Education. Advanced Federal Professional Examination (AFPE) and College of Higher Education (CHE) diplomas are possible on the basis of this or with sufficient professional experience after the apprenticeship. With the right prerequisites, it is also possible to study for a degree, as well as continuing education courses at universities of applied sciences.
