What continuing education, further training can I do as a landscape gardener?
Landscape gardeners have many opportunities for continuing education, further training, especially in special seminars and courses, such as processing natural stone paving, construction site reporting, machine maintenance, living plant communities, the rock garden, and much more. In addition to seminars on special topics, you can also continue your education with a Federal Professional Examination (FPE). Examples of this include green care specialist, gardener, foreman or head gardener. Studying at a College of Higher Education in horticulture (CHE) or at a University of Applied Sciences in landscape architecture with a Bachelor's degree (UAS) are also possible continuing education, further training options. The Bachelor's degree can also be completed as initial training and does not require any industry knowledge.
