Welche Weiterbildung kann ich als Heizungsmonteur machen?

What continuing education, further training can I do as a heating fitter?

After completing your basic training as a Federal VET Diploma heating fitter, you should first work as a heating fitter for a few years and gain practical experience before continuing your education, further training. A good option for continuing education, further training is the Federal Professional Examination (FPE), which leads to a federal certificate, for example as a head heating fitter, energy consultant for buildings, specialist for heating systems, project manager for building technology or fire inspector. Building on a Federal Professional Examination, an Advanced Federal Diploma of Higher Education (AFPE) can be completed to become a heating engineer with a federal diploma. As an alternative to a FPE, you can also attend a College of Higher Education (CHE) to become a Certified Technician in Building Technology or, if you have a Federal Vocational Baccalaureate, a University of Applied Sciences (UAS) to obtain a Bachelor of Science (UAS) in Building Technology. In addition to these federally recognized continuing education, further training courses are also available to heating technicians, such as service technician HFA heating or plumbing or ventilation and air conditioning, some of which also lead to examinations by the Federal Inspectorate for Heavy Current Installations (Art. 14 NIV, Art. 15 NIV).
