Which continuing education, further training is suitable for starting out as an energy manager?
If you have already completed an apprenticeship and are now, possibly after a few years of professional experience, looking for suitable continuing education, further training to become an energy manager, there are a variety of alternatives available to you that could be suitable depending on your previous career. For example, a certificate course or training at a College of Higher Education (CHE), for example in energy technology or energy and environment, could be suitable for you as an introduction to energy management. A Bachelor's degree in Renewable Energies and Environmental Technology or a related field of study would also be a good option, although this requires a Federal Vocational Baccalaureate. If, on the other hand, you already have a Bachelor's degree and now want to train as an energy manager, a CAS, DAS or MAS in energy consulting, renewable energy or energy and resource efficiency could also be the right continuing education, further training for you.
