What previous training is required for continuing education, further training as a legal assistant?
To be admitted to training at a College of Higher Education to become a legal assistant with a diploma, prospective students must hold one of the following qualifications:
- a Federal VET Diploma as a commercial clerk profile B, M or E
- a degree from a cantonal commercial secondary school
- another Federal Diploma of Higher Education with Federal Diploma of Higher Education
- another Federal VET Diploma with additional commercial or business management training at continuing education and training / tertiary level with a formal qualification, such as technical business management assistant or federally certified business economist
In addition, at least two years of professional experience in administration or business after completing basic training.
