What requirements do I have to meet to take the Federal Professional Examination to become a real estate agent (i.e. real estate marketer)?
In order to take the Federal Diploma of Higher Education (FPE) for Real Estate Agents, you must have the following prior education and professional experience:
- Federal VET Diploma or Matura or federally recognized commercial diploma or degree from a College of Higher Education (CHE) or Universities or in possession of a Federal Diploma of Higher Education, Federal Diploma or equivalent qualification
and
- After completing the training: At least three years of full-time practice in a profession in the real estate industry
or
- At least five years of full-time professional experience in a profession in the real estate industry, including at least two years in Switzerland or the Principality of Liechtenstein
and
- No entries in the criminal record that contradict the purpose of the audit
