Welche Voraussetzungen müssen für einen Deutsch-Kurs erfüllt werden?

What requirements must be met for a German course?

If you would like to attend German courses and have little or no previous knowledge of the language, an A1 beginners' course is the right choice for you. As a rule, you do not need any previous knowledge for such a course. However, a prerequisite for this German course is that you can read and write. If this is not the case, you should attend a literacy course beforehand or opt for a German course that focuses on conversation, i.e. speaking.

To be admitted to German courses at level A2 or higher, you must always have completed a German course beforehand so that you are not overwhelmed by the course material. You do not necessarily have to have a certificate from a school, but you should be sure that you really correspond to the language level you choose. It is best to take a placement test for your German course beforehand, which you can do online for free at many language schools.

A minimum age of 18 is usually required for business courses. The requirements for the individual German courses are best clarified directly with the respective school.
