What requirements do career changers need to fulfill for a kindergarten degree?
The admission requirements are defined independently by the respective University of Teacher Education (UTE). There may therefore be differences from school to school.
In order to obtain the pre-school teaching diploma, those interested in studying kindergarten who wish to enter the profession of kindergarten teacher as a career changer must be at least 27 years old and have completed a university-level education or equivalent training.
An aptitude and selection procedure must be completed in any case, unless you have a Baccalaureate or an equivalent or higher qualification.
In addition, at least three years of professional experience (300 full-time equivalents) within a maximum of seven consecutive years must be demonstrated.
