Anyone wishing to be admitted to the Federal Professional Examination to become a janitor with a Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training must be in possession of a Federal Diploma of Higher Education, have worked as a janitor for at least two years and have the following certificates and diplomas:
- European Computer Driving License Base (ECDL)
- Course certificate as a vocational trainer in training companies
- Specialist authorization for the use of plant protection products in special areas
- Emergency aid card
- Complete BLS-AED-SRC certificate (life-saving resuscitation measures)
