The field of work in PR is very diverse and varied. However, your future tasks as a PR specialist depend on which workplace you work in and which tasks you can perform there. If you want to train as a public relations specialist, you will work in the public relations department of a company, a public authority, a non-profit organization or an institution, or decide to work in a PR agency. There you will plan and implement a wide variety of communication projects, depending on your experience and the size of the company.

As a public relations specialist, you are usually responsible for developing sub-concepts that you implement in the technical and editorial areas. For example, you will create articles for company brochures or employee magazines, annual reports or customer information.
With this training, you will also have the necessary knowledge to work on PR campaigns that aim to publicize new product launches, win an election campaign or specifically increase the attractiveness of a tourist region, for example. As a public relations specialist, you will also often be entrusted with the planning and implementation of smaller events, such as company anniversaries or media conferences.
