Which language levels can I choose?
Whichever type of language course you choose, whether at an English school in Germany or abroad, on a standard or intensive course, you will improve your language skills immensely. At all language schools, you will receive a course certificate at the end of the course if you wish. However, these certificates do not necessarily say anything about your level of knowledge and do not qualify you to enrol on a more advanced course that requires certain qualifications or diplomas.
An English school usually offers courses at different levels. This means that you will be placed according to your knowledge. There are different courses from beginner level to very advanced level. After completing a beginner's course, you can take another course to acquire the necessary knowledge to register for an A1 level exam.
Once you have successfully completed these, you have the opportunity to take a further course to obtain the A2 diploma, followed by the B1 diploma, B2, C1 diploma and finally the C2 diploma, which certifies that you can operate at native speaker level.
