What languages do I need to be able to speak to train as a tour guide?
Foreign language skills are essential for working as a travel companion, but which one you need depends largely on the language area in which you would like to work. English, French, Italian or Spanish are preferred, but very good language skills in another language will also open up a wide range of opportunities for you. Talk to the course leader about the language requirements and any other language courses you may need.
