What options do I have to start at a technical college for home economics after school?
After leaving school, you can apply for an apprenticeship as a housekeeping practitioner with a Federal Certificate of Vocational Education and Training (Vocational Education and Training - VET) or an apprenticeship as a housekeeping specialist with a Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training (Vocational Education and Training - VET). It is also possible for you to start a course of study, for example in Facility Management (Bachelor UAS), with a corresponding school-leaving certificate (Matura). All other courses shown in the orange box above are continuing education, further training courses that require training or a degree in home economics or facility management.
