What types of baccalaureate are there?
There are the following types of baccalaureate:
- Federal Vocational Baccalaureate - for people who wish to obtain a Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training (BMS 1) or have already obtained one (BMS 2) and wish to pursue a practice-oriented course of study at a University of Applied Sciences.
- Specialized Baccalaureate - for graduates of a Specialized School who wish to pursue a practice-oriented course of study at a University of Applied Sciences or University of Teacher Education (Primary Level).
- Baccalaureate - for people who wish to study at a university or University of Teacher Education.
If you also want to study at a university, you have to take a supplementary passerelle examination.
