What waste management courses are offered?
Three Certificate of Advanced Studies CAS continuing education courses are currently offered at the Werz Institute of the HSR, the University of Applied Sciences Rapperswil. These are CAS Energy Consulting in Companies (formerly Efficient Energy Use), CAS Renewable Energies and CAS Recycling and Disposal. The CAS Recycling and Disposal consists of seven modules: Waste management and legislation; Disposal and collection logistics; Recycling management; Waste generation, collection systems and technologies; Raw materials: Origin, Use, Sustainability; Processing Technology and Optimization; and a Practical Transfer module (as of the end of 2016). With the exception of the last module, all other modules can also be attended individually.
