Welche Kursmodelle gibt es?

What course models are available?

Language schools offer various course models with which you can learn Russian. In the case of company seminars, you as the person responsible determine the content and scope of the course, so there are no set guidelines. In the case of public language courses at language schools, however, you will find precise objectives and descriptions. The courses are divided into levels, ranging from A1 to C2, which reflect your language skills. If you are a Russian beginner with no previous knowledge of the language, you will therefore attend an A1 course, while an advanced learner may attend an A2 or B1 course. The best way to find out which course is most suitable for you is to take a placement test. Such tests are offered online by most language schools or sent to you by post before you book a particular course.

Once you have determined your level, there are usually still a number of Russian courses to choose from, which differ mainly in terms of day and time, the intensity with which you learn, the size of the group and the focus (diplomas). However, there is also a subdivision into models:

  • Standard course
  • Intensive course
  • Private lessons
  • Semi-private lessons
  • Diploma courses
  • Business courses
  • Special courses

Specialized Russian courses can be designed for hotel professionals, ski instructors or airline employees, for example, and provide them with job-specific knowledge.
