Those who have successfully completed the ALM Finance course CAS UAS in ALM are familiar with the various basic concepts of asset and liability management, internal and external risk transfer methods and instruments (hedging and treasury) and are able to apply them. He or she knows about the ALM process, roles and functions and how to set up an ALM committee. Participants in the course also acquire skills relating to the communication of results, risk-bearing capacity concepts, regulatory requirements and the impact on accounting as well as hedging decisions and performance measurements.
