Graduates of the MAS Homecare Master's degree program have the skills to take a medical history and perform a physical examination on patients who are cared for and treated at home and to initiate nursing measures if necessary. They also understand complex therapeutic contexts, can analyze them and initiate solutions with interprofessional cooperation, which they also accompany. They tap into pharmacological knowledge resources and close knowledge gaps, evaluate interventions for the "private household health location" systematically and based on evidence, advise patients and their relatives in a needs-oriented manner, train and support them where necessary and promote interprofessional collaboration with the family doctor.
