What knowledge is tested in the Medical Technology Consultant exam?
During the Federal Diploma of Higher Education in Medical Technology Consultant examination, basic knowledge of anatomy, pathophysiology, therapy, physiology, diagnostics, evidence-based medicine and clinical studies is tested, as well as medical terminology and behavior in specialist departments. In addition, basic knowledge of the Swiss healthcare system, the services and remuneration of medical products, the basics of ethics, law and compliance (business, legal, ethical), as well as the ability to recognize the needs of medical professionals and to provide them with correct information and advice on the services and products represented.
