Welche Dauer hat ein Afrikaans-Sprachkurs?

How long is an Afrikaans language course?

The duration of a language course can vary greatly and depends not least on you. Afrikaans language courses in South Africa, Namibia, Zimbabwe or Botswana in particular can be very flexible and depend on how much time and desire you have to learn the language. Two weeks? Two years? Or something in between? With language courses in one of the simplest African languages, anything is possible.

Afrikaans language courses here in Switzerland usually start and end at a fixed time, for example every October for 17 weeks. In contrast to a language stay, however, you are only at the language school once a week. The situation is different with private lessons. Here you decide for yourself when the course starts and how long it should last. As you don't have to follow your fellow students, this form of tuition is certainly the most flexible.
