What kind of Afrikaans language courses are there?
It depends on the individual schools which course models they offer. In most cases, standard and intensive courses are offered, which are open group courses. This means that you register for an Afrikaans language course and learn the language together with 5 to 16 other people at a set time. The number of lessons varies depending on the variant booked (standard/intensive).
Private lessons are also possible, again in different intensities, as well as closed group lessons, for example if you want to learn Afrikaans together with friends, your partner or the whole family.
Of course, there are also company language courses that are individually tailored to the needs of your company and train your employees or a selected group in exactly the area and terminology that is important to you.
Language trips to South Africa usually also offer special courses or combination courses that complement the language lessons with leisure activities. These can include sailing or surfing, safaris, tours of the Wine Route, golf, wildlife photography and much more, all in combination with learning a new language - Afrikaans.
