For admission to the continuing education course in data security with a diploma of Advanced Federal Professional Examination (AFPE) "ICT Security Experts with Federal Diploma", professional experience in the ICT security field and business management knowledge are required, as well as experience in management or project management. The number of years of professional experience depends on the type of qualification. For example, people with a tertiary degree in IT only need to have three years of professional experience in ICT security, while people with an upper-secondary level qualification in IT must have at least six years. People with a degree in a field other than IT must have at least four years of relevant professional experience (tertiary level) or at least eight years (upper-secondary level).
