Was versteht man unter dem Begriff moderne Präsentationstechnik?

What is meant by the term modern presentation technology?

Modern presentation technology is used for two different aspects of presentations. On the one hand, it refers to the technical aids that are used during a presentation (such as a pointer or props). These include PowerPoint, other digital presentation media (Keynote, Google Slides, Prezi, Canva) and haptic aids such as flip charts or whiteboards. On the other hand, presentation techniques are the techniques and tricks that make the presentation exciting, such as free speech. These ensure that the message is received, understood and memorized by the audience. Both aspects are important and must be up to date.

Interestingly enough, modern presentation technology is on the decline and familiar analog aids such as flipcharts and whiteboards are gaining in popularity. The advantage of media and slides that are projected onto the wall via a projector is that the audience can follow how the information is written down in real time. This means that not everything is pre-chewed on perfect slides, but is worked out together and is therefore usually better remembered.
