The admission requirements for the Federal Diploma of Higher Education in Exercise and Health Promotion are as follows:
- Specializing in fitness and health training:
- Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training as a specialist in exercise and health promotion, required module qualifications or certificates of equivalence as well as a minimum of 3,500 hours of professional experience within a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 5 years, calculated from the date of the examination.
- Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training or other Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training or Baccalaureate and the required module qualifications or certificates of equivalence as well as professional experience of at least 5000 hours within a minimum of 2.5 and a maximum of 5 years, calculated from the date of the examination.
- and a BLS (CPR) card valid on the day of the test
- Specialization in body and movement training:
- Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training, required module completions and at least 500 hours of teaching units in accordance with professional profile Art. 1.2 within a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 5 years from the date of the examination.
- Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training or other Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training or Baccalaureate, required module qualifications and at least 750 hours of teaching units in accordance with professional profile Art. 1.2 within a minimum of 2.5 and a maximum of 5 years from the date of the examination.
