What does an air traffic control specialist do?
A qualified air navigation service employee (ANSE) is responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of air traffic. Air navigation service employees work either in Air Traffic Management (ATM) or Aeronautical Information Management (AIM). In ATM, they support the air traffic controllers in the Area Control Centers in Zurich or Geneva, while in AIM, in the Information and Advisory Service in Dübendorf, they support direct customers.
