Specialists in exercise and health promotion with a Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training are employed in fitness and health centers as well as other private and public health promotion facilities. They determine the needs of customers with regard to suitable relaxation and exercise methods using standardized data collection specifications and support them in the implementation of their programme. In doing so, they pay attention to the client's state of health and goals and select the equipment and exercises accordingly. An exercise and health promotion specialist looks after clients of all ages and promotes an active, healthy lifestyle. They carry out administrative tasks and conduct sales and advisory meetings.
