What is border control security assistance for?
A challenging and varied job awaits you as a security assistant at border control. Your tasks will include checking people entering Switzerland and the Schengen area as well as people leaving the country. It is your responsibility to authorize entry or exit or to order further checks. On entry, you ask about the reason for the journey and the stay and assess whether the answers are credible. You also check whether the travel documents are genuine, recognized and valid and whether the photograph in the passport matches the person standing in front of you.
