What is the difference between a vocational certificate and a certificate of proficiency?
You can complete an apprenticeship in various ways. You can choose between an apprenticeship that lasts two years and ends with a Federal Certificate of Vocational Education and Training (VET), or a three to four-year apprenticeship that leads to a Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training (VET). Training for professions with a vocational certificate is primarily aimed at people who have difficulties at school and have not performed very well there.
