Trained naturopaths can use iris diagnostics to recognize clinical pictures and identify weak points in the body even before an illness occurs. The causes and progression of a disease can therefore be recognized and treated at an early stage before it breaks out, as can hereditary predispositions. This diagnostic method uses a person's iris, which provides information about the patient's condition and can be recognized in the iris, for example by stripes, pigment spots or rings. Each area of the iris represents an organ or part of the body, based on the knowledge that there is a nerve connection between them all and the iris of the eye. Iris diagnosis distinguishes between different constitutions (eye colors) and types, the connective tissue weakness type, the hydrogenic type, the neurogenic type, the psoric type and the larvated-tetanic type. Therapists who are involved in iris diagnosis or iridology can therefore use the signs in the eye to recognize a wide variety of diseases and complaints at an early stage and, if possible, counteract them with targeted measures.
