Training to become a head gardener leads to a Federal Professional Examination. The Federal Professional Examination can currently be taken in nine different specializations, whereby you must decide on a specialization at the beginning of your training and attend the corresponding modules. The individual specializations are Gardener foreman; woody plant cultivator; cemetery specialist; green maintenance specialist; shrub cultivator; natural garden specialist; ornamental plant cultivator; gardener customer advisor; sports and golf turf specialist.
