Sind im Studium der Technikkommunikation Fremdsprachenkenntnisse erforderlich?

Are foreign language skills required to study Technical Communication?

For the Bachelor's degree course in Technical Communication, German is compulsory as the basic language (GS) and at least two other foreign languages must be chosen. Students can choose between English, French, Spanish or Italian for the first and second foreign language FS2 and FS2, whereby English is compulsory as FS1 or FS2. A third foreign language can also be taken from the third semester onwards. This can be French, Italian or Spanish, and if there is a sufficient number of students, Portuguese, Swedish, Arabic, Russian or Chinese. The choice of languages cannot be changed during the course of study and is compulsory.
