Sind die Inhalte des Lehrgangs Verkaufsleiter / Verkaufsleiterin (HFP) reglementiert?

Are the contents of the Sales Manager (AFPE) course regulated?

Continuing education, further training to become a sales manager with a federal diploma is regulated nationwide. This means that the examination subjects are the same throughout Switzerland. However, there are differences in the implementation of the sales manager courses (AFPE). Each school designs the content and teaching individually and sets its own priorities.

The following subjects are a central component of the Advanced Federal Professional Examination (AFPE):

  • Sales and marketing: strategies for market development, customer management and sales planning
  • Leadership and personnel management: employee management, team development and organizational design
  • Business administration: financial relationships, controlling and legal principles
  • Communication and moderation: presentation skills, discussion skills and conflict resolution
  • Project and process management: planning, implementation and control of operational projects

These subject areas provide targeted preparation for the demanding Federal Professional Examination. Some schools supplement the learning content of the Sales Manager (AFPE) course with additional modules or practical examples that go beyond the compulsory subject matter.

Important: Each educational institution decides for itself how it teaches the material and what it focuses on. It is therefore worth comparing the courses on offer and asking specifically which content is actually covered in the course.

A contact form is available to check the course content of the desired school directly. The request will be automatically forwarded to the relevant school.
