Are e-business and e-commerce the same thing?
The term "e-business", short for electronic business, covers all of a company's electronic business processes and is a collective term that includes teleshopping as well as mobile business, e-publishing and e-consulting. E-commerce also falls under this umbrella term and refers to all marketing via electronic media, such as e-shops. A course in e-commerce therefore only trains you in one area of electronic business.
