To be able to work as a career, vocational or academic counselor, you need a degree at least at Bachelor's level and continuing education, further training in counseling at a university. One option is the MAS Vocational, Academic and Career Counseling (UAS), which is suitable for people who have a university degree in any subject area. Another option is exclusively for psychologists in a postgraduate university continuing education, further training in career and personnel psychology with the Master of Advanced Studies in Psychology of Career Counseling and Human Resources Management (CCHRM) or MAS en Gestion des ressources humaines et des carrières. A Master in Psychology with a specialization in "Psychologie du conseil et de l'orientation" is also possible.
