The amount of time you spend on self-study in addition to the classroom training depends primarily on you personally, your motivation, willingness to learn, your comprehension and learning speed. Roughly speaking, however, you can expect to spend around 85 to at least 100 hours on an initial training course in couples counselling, and considerably more on advanced courses with specialization.
