The requirements for preschool teachers at Rudolf Steiner schools are not identical to those of state preschools or elementary school. In order to work as a kindergarten teacher at a Rudolf Steiner school, an internal training course must be completed, which takes place alongside work and practice and usually lasts three years. The admission requirements are also different. It should be noted that such a teaching diploma is not sufficient for teaching at a state preschool in every canton.
