Speech therapy studies: How can I complete a speech therapy course without a school-leaving certificate?
In addition to a high school diploma, other people are also admitted to study speech therapy.
Persons with a vocational baccalaureate or a specialized baccalaureate are treated in the same way as holders of a Baccalaureate, provided they have successfully passed the supplementary examinations in accordance with the requirements of the Swiss Conference of Cantonal Ministers of Education (EDK).
Anyone who has completed a three-year recognized upper-secondary level school, for example a Fachmittelschulausweis, or has a Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training in combination with several years of professional experience, must also prove that they have a level of general knowledge at baccalaureate level. This proof is provided by means of a corresponding examination before the start of training.
