As soon as you are able to interpret and understand the body language of your counterpart, you will automatically work on your non-verbal communication in order to use and direct it in a targeted manner. This is why rhetoric seminars not only focus on interpreting the signals of the person you are talking to or another party, but also provide you with the knowledge and know-how you need to appear (and hopefully be) authentic, open and honest and to generate trust and sympathy in your counterpart.
