For many students, putting into practice what they have learned during their studies and earning money at the same time is both a goal and a necessity. Some Universities of Applied Sciences offer this flexibility in part-time degree programs, which allow students to work 50 to even 80 percent alongside their studies. If you would like to study computer science part-time or part-time at a University of Applied Sciences, please clarify this with the head of studies before enrolling. You can also work part-time at universities, as you can choose your own courses/modules and schedule them flexibly. In this case, however, make sure that there are no study time restrictions and that you do not have to complete your studies within a fixed period of time (e.g. a maximum of 10 semesters). You should also always discuss this directly with the Director of Studies in individual cases.
